Many nominations and prizes for IE&IS during MomenTUm

Last Friday during MomenTUm, the department IE&IS was well represented in the Teaching Awards and Academic Awards.

 

Teaching Awards

Peter Ruijten (Human-Technology Interaction) won the award for the best Bachelor teacher. Peter was abroad at that time. In a video message he said that the award motivates him to do even better next year.

In the category Best Master Teacher Awards Sarah Gelper and Henny Romijn were nominated.

Marina van Damme grant

Milou Feijt received the Marina van Damme grant. The nine thousand euros that she receives, she will use for research into improving the skills of professionals in e-mental health and to develop technologies to improve online therapeutic guidance.

Academic Awards

The department was also well represented at the Academic Awards 2018. Milou Feijt was nominated for her master project "Perceived Drivers and Barriers to the Adoption of Online Counseling by Psychologists", and Melvin Drent was nominated for his master's project "Stocking and Expediting in Two-Echelon Spare Parts Inventory Systems under the System Availability Constraints".

Freek Meulman was nominated for the PhD Thesis Award for his research project "Challenges for innovation intermediaries in technology transfer: Forming controls and alliances."
