Vitality Week

The Vitality week, in which the Day of Physical Health takes place, is an annual event during which employees can 'test' the current state of their healthTU/e employees of 40+ can have a Health Check, TU/e Employees of 40- can have a Fit Check. Further you can participate in challenging, playful and informative activities about your health and vitality. Together with colleagues you can also get to know mindfulness. You can register from the ending of October via the SSC website. You don't need a sportscard to participate in this week.

During the Vitality Week there is so much more you can do as a TU/e-employee. We offer breakfast sessions, workwalks, mental sports coaching, inspiring workshops and many group lessons that you can attend for free. For some events you do have to sign up in advance.

SSC Open Week

Students and employees from TU/e, Fontys and Design Academy can work out free from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 January 2019 at the SSC. During this Open Week, all facilities and classes are open for non-sports card holders (except squash courts)

NB: only students and employees that are eligible for a student sports card can visit the Open Week. For non-students or employees of other companies participating is not possible.

Get connected!

During the Open Week, all sports card holders can put their (inactive) fellow students and colleagues to work, by bringing them to the SSC. When you fill in a voucher and hand it in, you get free access to the sports center and all its facilities and our regular lessons. You can choose from 70 different sports, ranging from (indoor)football to zumba and from athletics to capoeira.

Sports Card after Graduation

After graduation it is possible to continue exercising at the SSC. We have two arrangements for getting a sports card:

1 year rule
The first college year after graduation, you can buy a sports card for the same terms and conditions as a student. This means that when you've graduated in college year 2017-2018 (1 September 2017 - 31 August 2018), you can buy a sports card for college year 2018-2019 (1 september 2018 - 31 augustus 2019). You can remain the first year after graduation a member of a student sports club. When purchasing the sports card, show your diploma.

TU/e students: since you have to hand in your sports card after graduation, you can put your new subscription on a new sports card at the SSC info counter.

TU/e alumni
As a TU/e alumnus you can buy a sports card. With this sports card you can use all facilities and participate in all lessons, except those of the student sports club. You have to be a member of Alumninet of the TU/e to be able to buy a sports card. Costs of this sports card in 2017-2018 are E180,-. Click here for more info.

Fontys alumni
As a alumnus from Fontys Hogescholen Eindhoven you can buy a sports card. With this sports card you can use all facilities and participate in all lessons, except those of the student sports club. In order to get the sports card you have to submit a Fontys HBO diploma. Costs of this sports card in 2017-2018 are E230,-.

5-year rule
For information concerning this rule, please inform with the board of your student sport club. You can still get a sports card at the SSC!

Sports card renewal 2018-2019

From 1 September onwards you need a new subscription. Fontys and TU/e students and -employees, and TU/e alumni can easily renew and pay (iDEAL) their year subscription via our website from Monday 6 August onwards.

NB:make sure you are not already logged in to our website.After renewal you will receive an AcceptEmail that allows you to pay with iDEAL. Once you have paid, your SSC sports card subscription is immediately active and valid until 31 August 2019.

Should you prefer to renew your subscription at the SSC info counter or purchase another type of subscription, then our staff at the info counter is at your service from 13 August onwards.
