• I am disabled. What should I know about parking?

    For disabled people with a municipal parking permit, parking is complimentary. For disabled drivers there are special parking spaces on the campus. To use these spaces, you need this parking permit.

  • I cannot see the buttons to change my data. What to do?

    If you are holding down the Ctrl key and scroll with the mouse wheel, your screen will zoom out and the buttons will appear.

  • Is a manual available for (H)Eerlijk Parkeren?

    Yes, a manual is available which contains information about how to create an account, how to add credit to your account and more. TU/e students and employees can get information about this manual on the intranet. Students of Fontys and Summa can read how to get this manual under 'More information'.

  • My account in 'Heerlijk Parkeren' is disabled. What now?

    If you enter an incorrect password three times in succession, your account will be blocked for the rest of the day. The next day you can log in again with the right combination of login name and password.

    If you have forgotten the password of your account or the password is incorrect, then you can use the link 'ik ben mijn wachtwoord vergeten' (I forgot my password) on the login screen to receive a new password.

  • The barrier does not open on license plate recognition. What to do?

    There are two possible causes if your license plate is not being recognized:

    1. The license plate recognition will never be 100% guaranteed, that is why it is important to always have your campus card when entering or leaving the campus. If your license plate was not detected, this may be a one-time error. If it happens two or three times in a row, please report this via parking@tue.nl, giving your name and number on your campus card, date and time of entering or leaving the campus and which entrance or exit you used (if you can remember, please also state right or left barrier).   • What are the charges for parking?

    The costs of parking for car drivers without a parking subscription are based on those charged in the city of Eindhoven:

    • The first half-hour you can leave the TU/e Campus free of charge, otherwise:
    • € 0.50 per 15 minutes
    • € 10,00 per 24 hours (daily rate)
    • After 48 hours, daily rate of € 16,00 per 24 hours
    • € 10,00 for a lost entry ticket.

    The parking charges apply every day, 24 hours a day.

  • What do I have to do if I haven't got a Campus card yet?

    Your first campus card
    Before the start of your studies or work at TU/e, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to the Self Service Portal (SSP) where you must upload a recent passport photo. In addition to uploading a passport photo, you can also use the webcam on your notebook to take and save a passport photo. You will be informed via the SSP whether or not the passport photo is sufficient.

  • What should I do if I bring a rented or borrowed car?

    If you are entering the campus in a rented or borrowed car, you should use your campus card to open the barriers. If you are using the same rented or borrowed car for a longer period of time, you can have the license plate changed in “(H)eerlijk Parkeren”. The barriers will then automatically open after license plate recognition.

  • Where and how can I pay?

    You can pay at six payment machines using cash in coins, bank notes, pin or credit card. At the payment machine at Kranenveld (last in the list below) only paying by pin or credit card is possible. These payment machines can be found at the following locations:

    • 'De Zaale’ at the North side of the Atlas
    • ‘De Zaale’ on the parking lane towards the Insulindelaan exit
    • ‘De Rondom’ near the Nexus building
    • ‘Het Eeuwsel’ near the IPO building
    • The Auditorium parking area

  • Where can I check my parking history?

    After your have made an account in (H)eerlijk parkeren, you can via (H)eerlijk parkeren check your parking history. Go to the tab 'mijn historie'. You can see if € 2,00 or nothing has been written from your credit.
