EIRES Publications

The Eindhoven Institute for Renewable Energy Systems (EIRES) was established with the explicit aim to have an impact on the energy transition. Since the institute first and foremost is an academic endeavor, bringing together TU/e researchers working on materials, systems, and processes for energy storage and conversion, our scientific publications are an important means to disseminate our research results to our peers.

EIRES publications

EIRES researchers are working on fundamental challenges underlying the development of systems with the potential for rapid upscaling and market penetration. Within the four focus areas, research is conducted into topics as diverse as new materials for electrolysers, plasma-catalysis for carbon capture, transport phenomena in salt for heat batteries, and scenarios for energy production, conversion, storage, demand and distribution. An overview of our latest publications can be found here.
