Make mobility available and improve its quality

High quality mobility automated driving, affordable mobility-as-a-service research.

As said mobility can be seen as a biological need for people and brings freedom and prosperity to its users.
Apart from making mobility sustainable we also look for solutions to expand the benefits of mobility to those who are not yet or not able anymore to join. On the short term we see huge potential for increasing the inclusiveness of elderly or disabled people in sharing concepts and new mobility services, often based on voluntary drivers.

Automated driving can further increase inclusiveness on the long term. However, on the short term it will already improve the quality of driving by taking over the nasty bits like driving in a traffic jam, long stretches of highway commute or parking the car.

TU/e is researching various areas to contribute towards these positive innovations and new mobility services.
