Data Science Summit 2017
The Annual Data Science Summit, organized by DSC/e takes place in the Auditorium of the TU/e in Eindhoven on December 4, 2017. During the day we present our main research programs in a number of inspiring talks and through posters and demos on these topics. A selected number of companies are present to show their work related to our research programs. The goal of the summit is to further increase the cooperation between TU/e researchers and external parties, both industry as well as (semi) government. For this reason, there is sufficient time for discussion and networking during and after the event.
Our five research programs which we present during the day are:
- Customer journey: “Informed and responsible analytics to understand and improve the customer journey“
- Health Analytics: “Improving your health through data analytics“
- Internet of Things: “Computational intelligence and network science for the Internet of Things“
- Quantified Self: “Human Vitality & Technology“
- Smart Manufacturing & Maintenance: “Exploit the full potential of your data to boost manufacturing and maintenance“
During this day you can connect with researchers and practitioners to discuss the state of the art in Data Science research on these applications. In the poster and demo sessions you can learn first-hand from core practitioners and contributors how to correctly and efficiently extract the knowledge & insights from data. The Data Science Summit inspires and gives directions for solving your specific challenges.
Attending the day is free of charge, however we have to charge €25 for no-shows (to cover costs of drinks, lunch and snacks that are not consumed). Registration is open, so you can reserve your seat now.
