This course (with practical & theoretical exercises and assignments) is about definition, analysis and evaluation methods for the physical performance of buildings and building services. The focus will be on energy performance and indoor environmental quality. This will be addressed at different spatial scales (workplace/room/building/urban area) as well as for the different building life-cycle phases. The analysis and evaluation make use of both computer simulation and experimental techniques.
