New Microsystems PhD-student

From September 1st, Setareh Kazemzadeh has started as a PhD student in the microsystems group. She will work with Yoeri van de Burgt on the development of smart biosensors using arrays of organic artificial synapses. These trainable devices can form true hardware-based neural networks and as such can be used to learn to recognize and classify inputs from a range of different sensors in a lab-on-a-chip.
