Last Friday, TU/e master student Margo Teurlings won the Best hDMT Organ-on-Chip showcase award for presenting her graduation work. Her "Joint-on-a-chip" project about modeling osteoarthritis in a microfluidic chip started out as an hDMT collaboration between Yolande Ramos (LUMC) and our own Hossein Eslami Amirabadi (TU/e). Margo excellently presented her most recent findings at the annual hDMT consortium meeting. Good enough to win!
