New group member: PhD candidate James Marvellous Muganda

Since 22 November 2016, we  have a new PhD candidate  in the group: James Muganda!

James obtained his BSc from the University of Zimbabwe, graduating with honors in physics. Then, he came to the Netherlands to carry out his MSc studies at Delft University of Technology in Microelectronics on a TU Delft Excellence Scholarship. He carried out his graduation project at Philips Research under guidance of prof. Ronald Dekker, working on the design, micro-fabrication and characterization of medical instruments.

In our group, he will do research in the project “New actuator concepts for realizing an active wafer table in lithography machines”, which is done in collaboration with ASML. We are very happy with James in our group: for sure he can make this project a succes! We are looking forward to working with him.
