Marina Pilz da Cunha on the cover of Advanced Optical Materials

The latest issue of Advanced Optical Materials is decorated with the recently published work by Marina Pilz da Cunha and co-workers. In this work, a remotely controlled dual responsive rotary soft robotic grippers was developed that is able to perform loading, transport, rotation and release of cargo. Light is used to trigger the actuator to autonomously pick-up and release cargo, and magnetic response allows for transportation and rotational freedom. Further details can be found in the full article. We congratulate Marina and her co-authors with this achievement!
