Prof. Broer has finally received his Gray Medal

Just over a year ago, Prof. Dirk Broer was awarded with the Gray Medal from the British Liquid Crystal Society. The G.W. Gray Medal is awarded from time to time for outstanding contributions to research in the field of liquid crystal science and technology. It was first awarded in 1996, following the award of the Kyoto prize for Advanced Technology to George Gray. Last week, Prof. Broer received his medal at the BLCS Annual Meeting 2019 at the University of Leeds. We congratulate Prof. Broer with this recognition of the importance of his work.
