At the Eindhoven University of Technology an increasing number of projects concentrates on robotics. As robotics research and development typically involves many disciplines, projects are found in various departments of the university. These are combining their strengths, collaborating to achieve the common goal of developing enabling technology for robotics.
While browsing through the projects in the menu on your left, you will notice that the majority of the projects are in healthcare. Aging of population and cost of health care are two major drivers for the increased awareness that technology should put forward to help. Robotics research at Eindhoven University of Technology focuses on the role of robotics for care (domotics) and cure (medical robotics). Furthermore, we are looking into the emerging field of robotics in food processing and agriculture.
