Daniel Lakens receives the 2017 Leamer-Rosenthal Prize for Open Social Science!

Daniel Lakens will receive the award, which includes $10,000, for his outstanding efforts to advance reproducibility, openness, and credibility in the social sciences, largely through his teaching at Eindhoven University of Technology, as well as his MOOC "Improving Your Statistical Inferences."

The 2017 Leamer-Rosenthal Prize will be formally awarded at the 2017 BITSS Annual Meeting. After the awards ceremony, a panel of the 2017 recipients will discuss their perspectives on the state and future of transparency in social science, as well as their roles in the movement.
