RP3: Disturbances & Environment Uncertainties
The future mechatronic system is designed in such a way that external uncertainties and disturbances are accommodated in a self-adapting, learning way, and the system is designed up-front to enable this. In the field of robotics this can be seen in an extreme form: changing environments push the future robotics systems to be connected and learning agents.
