New Light Base in the Laplace building

Last Tuesday July 7,  The Intelligent Lighting Institute celebrated the opening of the new     LIGHT BASE in the Laplace building.

In collaboration with Industrial Design we realized the new Light Base.

With this new Light Base we make the required facilities available for students and researchers. The Light Base provides dedicated (dark) spaces for light research and exploration and a wide variety of equipment to create light settings. The flexible set-up of the Light Base allows users to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

We combined this event with the goodbye drink of Emile Aarts, who started his new position at the University of Tilburg last June.  Ingrid Heynderickx has taken over his role at our Institute.  (See the articles in the 3rd edition of the ILI magazine).
