Mechanical testing Lab

The Mechanical Testing laboratory of the Polymer Technology group of Prof. Patrick Anderson is equipped with a large selection of static and dynamic load frames suitable for characterization of the mechanical performance of materials in uniaxial extension, compression, shear and torsion. The laboratory specializes in the assessment of the long-term performance of polymer systems in static and dynamic fatigue under various environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, loading history).
