RESEARCH PROFILE

I graduated in 2013 at Tilburg University, where I studied social psychology. Since early 2014 I have been working on my PhD project at Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Human Technology Interaction group. In my PhD project, I investigate the link between light and components of aggressive behavior.  In my research, I focus on associations between light and emotion, how these associations might vary as a function of the context, and how lighting might influence person perception. In general, my research interests lie in how cues in the context can influence cognition, emotion, and behavior. In addition, I am interested in how insights from the field of (social) psychology can be used to develop behavior change interventions.
