RESEARCH PROFILE

Aykut Isleyen works as a PhD candidate in the Dynamics and Control section of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) under the supervision of Ömür Arslan and Nathan van de Wouw. He is currently working on Motion Prediction for Motion Planning (MP2) of Autonomous Mobile Systems. His research goal is to develop algorithms that allow safe autonomous navigation of mobile robots that operate in dynamic environments. His research interests include motion prediction, motion planning, and motion perception within the scope of mobile robotics.

Autonomous mobile robots have the potential to have a huge impact on the near future of our civilization. Safe navigation of these robots is the key enabler for that future.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
