RESEARCH PROFILE
As a PhD Student at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Claudia Galantini will primarily work on designing and building a new experiment at the SIntAQS group that combines trapped ions with ultracold atoms.
These systems are deeply involved in the quantum computing field, and are testbeds for (many-body) quantum simulation and quantum computation, quantum chemistry and sensing.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Claudia Galantini earned her Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano with the thesis: "Characterization and analysis of titanium dioxide thin films of columnar structure".
