RESEARCH PROFILE
Together with 4 other industrial partners, we are developing a new type of device to couple light in and out of photonic integrated circuits to enable miniaturized sensors on a single optical chip that have new functionality. The technology will be based on a new nanophotonic component that can be applied in a generic way in several integrated photonics platforms. This enables miniaturized optical sensors with new functionality and significantly simplifies their packaging.
