Architects need to reinvent themselves, because in a changing society like ours it is no longer enough to continue along the familiar path.
In his role as professor of architectural design and engineering, Gianotten attempts to bridge the academic world and practice. Not only is design addressed in its own right, students also examine aspects such as cultural context and the influence of economical and political factors. Locations in Europe, America and Asia that meet specific criteria are examined and students are offered a choice of working location.
