Doctoral Candidate

Denis Fatkhiev

RESEARCH PROFILE

Denis Fatkhiev is a PhD Candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) working on a chip-based quantum key distribution transceivers. As a member of the Electro-Optical Communication (ECO) group his focus is to contribute in the secured communication systems by using photonic-electronic integration to enable high-performance, cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions for both discrete variable and continuous variable quantum key distribution.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indestinguishable from magic. I would like to bring the time of magic closer.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Denis Fatkhiev obtained his bachelor's (2019) and master's (2021) degrees in Information and Communication Technology at Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU). At USATU he also worked as a research engineer on the funded projects which were dedicated to on-chip orbital angular momentum approaches and photonics-assisted radio beam steering. Since June 2022 Denis joined TU/e as a PhD Candidate.
