RESEARCH PROFILE
Felix is a Doctoral Candidate in the Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences Department (HTI-Group) at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Felix aims to become a leading researcher in the field of Persuasive Technology. His passion is to understand and explain how technology can be developed to target behavior change. Felix’s current research focuses on how social forms of technology (such as social media platforms) can be designed with credibility features to influence people’s behavior towards a desirable one. Felix has particular interest in survey research, experimental research and multivariate data analysis.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Felix was born in Ghana, where in 2011, he completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science at the Kumasi Technical University. He followed up with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2015. Next, he did a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Management Information Systems at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2017. During his Master degree, Felix's research was published in top journals including Behaviour and Information Technology, Education and Information Technology and Journal of Computer Assisted Learning. Felix is currently a Doctoral Candidate with the Human Technology Interaction (HTI) group at TU/e. His research highlights the role of credibility in persuasive systems.
