Hanbit Chang is a PhD Candidate in the research project about AI for sustainable last-mile delivery by micromobility. She is interested in technology-driven urban consumption including food and grocery delivery platforms, same day delivery and various scheduling options. She currently works on how to make last-mile logistics more sustainable and fairer both for consumers and delivery workers. Her research mainly concerns socio-technical and critical-geographical analysis of the location data and algorithms.

Hanbit Chang holds her Master's degree in Human Geography and Planning from Utrecht University. She wrote her thesis about the commercial gentrification in Seoul, South Korea and discusses how the images circulated among female millennials and its algorithmic representation on Instagram aestheticize the urban streetscape.
