Hareld Kemps

Hareld Kemps is Professor of Remote Patient Management in Chronic Cardiac Care. He is also working as a cardiologist at Máxima Medical Center, specialized in cardiac rehabilitation, prevention and telemedicine. Kemps has a special interest in designing and implementing new technology and care pathways that will assist patients to manage their disease in their home environment and to guide health care professionals in tailoring treatment strategies to the patients needs and expectations. He has been leading and participating in several national and international research projects. He is past-chair of the Dutch Working Group of Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation and an active member of the Digital Health Committee of the European Society of Cardiology.
