Hemshikha Saini is a doctoral researcher in the Unit Building Physics and Services at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. Her research focusses on innovative adaptive building facades, and how such technologies can enter the mainstream practice of design and construction. She uses modelling and simulation to estimate building performance benefits of adaptive facades in comparison to conventional facades for a range of climate and usage scenarios.
