RESEARCH PROFILE
Hesheng Bao is a Doctoral Candidate in Power & Flow at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He researches turbulent spray combustion in engines. His work is to develop models that support the understanding of fundamental physics during spray combustion. He mainly focuses on turbulence prediction and the accuracy of the combustion chemistry reduction technique.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Hesheng Bao acquired his bachelor's degree in Power Engineering at Harbin Engineering University in 2014. He graduated from Delft University of Technology (TUD) in 2017. His thesis is about modeling of jet-in-hot-coflow under the supervision of D.J.E.M. Roekaerts. Afterward, he joined L.M.T. Somers's research group as a Doctoral Candidate.
