RESEARCH PROFILE

The aim of the project "Novel thin-film coatings for next-generation polymer electrolyte fuel cells" is to develop synthetic methods to manufacture new ionomers and gas diffusion layers for high-performance fuel cells. Electrochemical methods will be employed on selected molecules with  to control the properties of catalytic layers. This will allow the development of advanced electrodes for next-generation PEFCs.
