Jos Trienekens is an Associate Professor and Chair of IT Product Development at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His areas of expertise include manufacturing technology, mechanical technology, robotics, social and public administration, software, algorithms, control systems, information systems, governance and databases. Jos’ current research interests cover respectively Business Process Networks, Business IT alignment, Information Governance and Information Quality. Recent projects have examined Metric Based Test Maturity Models (MB-TMM) and Architectural modeling of embedded software systems (AIMESS).
Jos Trienekens obtained a PhD in software product quality at TU/e in in 1994. He is an associate member of the research school BETA at TU/e, which focuses at operations management issues. He has been and Editorial board member for the International Journal of Enterprise Information Systems and an organizational and program committee member of several international conferences for years. These include ICSoft and SAFECOMP. He also holds an Endowed Chair at Open University Heerlen.
Jos has published various books, papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is a regular contributor to leading journals such as Journal of Software : Evolution and Process, International Journal of Cooperative Information Systems and Industrial Management & Data Systems.
