RESEARCH PROFILE
Michail Ampatzis received his degree as Electronic and Computer Engineer at the Technical University of Crete in 2009, modeling and simulating an autonomous PV/fuel cell hybrid system for the power needs of a single residence as his graduation project. He extended his studies on the energy field by completing the MSc program of Sustainable Energy Technologies at Delft University of Technology in 2012, working on the optical models for amorphous silicon thin-film solar cells for his thesis. As from February 2013, he joined the Electrical Energy Systems group of Eindhoven University of Technology, conducting research on Multi-Agents for the administration of power systems.
