Patrick Bek

Patrick Bek studied History of International Relations (BA) at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Colonial and Global History (MA) at Leiden University. He obtained his PhD degree at the School of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences in the Technology, Innovation & Society (TIS) group. His PhD research was part of the Bicycle Challenges: Past, Present, and Future of Sustainable Urban Mobility (SUM) program, focussing on mobility justice in twentieth-century Netherlands. He currently lectures history and didactics at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
