RESEARCH PROFILE
Prasoon Garg is a Doctoral Candidate in Controls Systems Technology research group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on AI-based control development for future automotive powertrains, which are getting more complex due to stringent regulations on emissions, demand for comfort and performance. The project will focus on reducing calibration effort for these future powertrain systems.
Safe and Efficient learning is the key to Self Learning powertrains.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Prasoon Garg obtained his MSc in Automotive Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). During his graduation project, he focused on development of a virtual NOx sensor for a heavy-duty diesel engine. He obtained his BE. Hons. in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
His expertise are in engine control, modeling and signal processing for time-frequency analysis.
