RESEARCH PROFILE
Rui Wang is a PhD candidate in the Electromechanics and Power Electronics (EPE) group of Electrical Engineering Department at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Previously, she worked on sensorless control for motor drives. Her current research focuses on modular multilevel converters for solid-state tap changers.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Rui Wang received her B.Sc. degree in applied physics from Beijing Institute of Technology (China) in 2015, and her M.Sc. in sustainable energy technology from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2018. She joined EPE group in 2018 as a PDEng trainee and started as a PhD candidate in 2020.
