Tasfia Kabir
RESEARCH PROFILE
Tasfia has an interest in working with photonic integration in InP platform, laser-based sensors and continuously, widely tunable lasers. Her masters thesis dissertation was on 'Study of the Performance of InP based Semiconductor Lasers Integrated with Booster Semiconductor Amplifier'. In her PhD, she is looking into widely and continuously tunable laser sources.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Tasfia completed her Bachelors from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and decided to pursue her Masters in Photonics, a field she found to be of massive potential and interest during her Bachelor thesis. She got selected for Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and Networks (PIXNET) and was the recipient of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the period of her masters. She is pursuing a PhD candidacy in the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Photonic Integration group.
