RESEARCH PROFILE
Vera H.J. van Hal is a PhD candidate in the Photoacoustics & Ultrasound Laboratory Eindhoven (PULS/e), dept. of Biomedical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology. She works under supervision of dr. ir. Richard Lopata and dr. ir. Hans-Martin Schwab on multi-perspective functional ultrasound imaging of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Her current research interests include ultrafast ultrasound acquisition, model-based image reconstruction, aberration correction, image processing and strain imaging.
