ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Victor Dolores-Calzadilla received the B.Eng. in Telecommunications with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and the degree in M.Sc. Photonics from the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany, with a thesis on optical metrology at Carl Zeiss. In 2016, he obtained the Ph.D. degree (cum laude) from the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands, and then became a scientist at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin, Germany, within the Department of Photonic Components. Since 2018 he returned to the Dutch photonics ecosystem and currently shares his academic position at TU/e as Assistant Professor with a role as Program Manager at the Photonic Integration Technology Center.
