RESEARCH PROFILE
Vikrant Sihag is an assistant professor with the Innovation Technology Entrepreneurship & Marketing research group at the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences. His research interests lie at the intersection of organizational controls, NPD outsourcing, and inter-organizational relationships. Currently, he is also working on innovation in healthcare.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Vikrant Sihag obtained his Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur (India) in 2008, with first class distinction. From 2008 until 2012, he worked at PCP SBU of ITC Limited (India), where he was primarily responsible for implementing systems and processes and managing improvement initiatives. In 2013, he obtained his MSc in Supply Chain Management from the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation. He then moved to the Netherlands to become a PhD student at the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After finishing his doctorate trajectory there, he was appointed as an assistant professor with the Innovation Technology Entrepreneurship & Marketing research group at the department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences of Eindhoven University of Technology.
