RESEARCH PROFILE
Yannick Heuts is a PhD candidate in the Control Systems group of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. He is now mainly focussing on solving optimal control problems using a fast and flexible solver.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Yannick Heuts received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering (Automotive) in 2019 and his MSc degree in Systems and Control in 2021 at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His MSc thesis, entitled "An Adaptive Restart Heavy-Ball Projected Primal-Dual Method for Solving Constrained Linear Quadratic Optimal Control Problems" was supervised by Tijs Donkers. He is currently involved in the LONGRUN European projects.
