Zahra holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (2013) from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran and a MSc in Mechanical engineering (2016) from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Currently, she is doctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof.dr.Hensen and Dr. Pieter-Jan Hoes. Her research focuses on performance prediction of energy flexible future-proof building designs. She uses modeling and simulation to assess the energy flexibility offered by various building designs and energy flexibility options ranging from current building standards to passive houses. She aims at developing a computational performance assessment framework to quantify energy flexibility in buildings which will be achieved by adopting different case studies.
