Switched-Capacitor Converter with Continuous Conversion Ratio
The switched capacitor converter (SCC) technology is a viable possibility to cover the demand for miniaturized high power-density converters. However, their inherent fixed-step output regulation characteristics prevent the widespread use of SCC’s. The output voltage regulation methods for SCC’s without the cost of efficiency will be explained in the presentation.
Mert Turhan received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2010. Subsequently, he attended Yeditepe University and received the MSc degree in 2014. At the same time, Mert worked as a design engineer in Servomatik Electronics Systems, which is a manufacturer of power electronic converters such as uninterruptible power supplies(UPS), voltage stabilizer, battery charger etc.
Currently, he is working toward the Ph.D. degree at Eindhoven University of Technology.
His research focuses on switched capacitor converters, multiple output converters and their controllers.
