Green Challenge Copenhagen - DTU
TU/e students are invited to compete with other (international) students at the Green Challenge organized by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) on 24 June 2016 (Friday before the final examinations at TU/e take off). Specifically students of partner universities, like TU/e, are welcomed. To the International students, DTU offers an additional, interesting two-day program for free, to introduce the city of Copenhagen and the University. Alternatively it is also possible to take part in a three weeks course at DTU. For this second option a contribution in costs for accommodation needs to be paid.
Themes of the Challenge are: “Sustainability, Environment and Climate Change”. Interesting Bachelor projects as well as Master projects are targeted by this Challenge. Categorizations are used to ensure that projects are comparable. Projects need to be pitched in front of a critical jury consisting of several members with different background and function.
Participants and audience of the Challenge ensure a mixture of different cultures, backgrounds, topics, research, applications, business opportunities etc. Simultaneously to the presentations of projects of students, a market is organized at which companies, institutes, municipalities etc. can present themselves to the students and others interested. The Challenge is open for General Public (as audience). This three days visit to DTU/Copenhagen offers you therefore the opportunity to meet easily with energy professionals, students, lecturers etc.
For participation, please hand in a one-page-description of your research project at the latest on 28 March 2016 at energy@. tue.nlThe Strategic Area Energy of TU/e needs to make a first selection of projects because only a limited number of students can participate in the program for partner universities. You will be notified after 1 April 2016 whether you are selected.
If you want to see examples of projects, know more about participating companies/partners etc, read about the (selection) procedure and assessment criteria etc., please check the Green Challenge website: http://www.groendyst.dtu.dk/english
