Purpose of data collection

TU/e collects the following data for the purposes of communicating with potential students and course participants (bachelor, master, programs), sending information about TU/e’s products and services, keeping an overview of information sent and reporting as part of the monitoring of recruitment activities.

            First name, initials, middle names, surname, gender, date of birth and country   of birth, contact via, address, postcode, city, country, telephone number,    language of correspondence, I am interested in/want to be kept informed         about
Prior education data:
            Prior education, school, grade/starting date, (predicted) end date
Activities:
            Campaigns registered for
Interests:
            Fields of interest
Brochures:
            Requested brochures
Authorization:
            Username (email address) and password
Advance registration data:
            Status (B, M, PDEng), provisional or definitive, enrollment year, student number
Email verified yes/no

Who we share your data with and how we keep your data safe

We share your data with department staff who are involved in organizing events for which you must register and/or indicate your interest in; for example, when an open day or research day is organized. Department staff can see who has registered and can inform you about these events. We also share your information with a party that helps us with information management. We have a processing agreement with this party. We keep your data for a maximum of 2 years after your last activity in Azorus. We take appropriate security measures to safeguard against abuse and unauthorized access to your data. If you enter any personal details into the open fields besides what we request from you, we cannot guarantee anonymity. Only enter what we ask of you. There will be no automated decision-making based on the personal data entered.
