Entrepreneurship programs and projects

Grow your business across borders with CE3 Funding

It is noticeable that students cooperate little across borders and often lack an international perspective. The CE3 Interreg project (Crossborder Entrepreneurial Energy Education) wants to change this! The goal of the CE3 project is to make students of TU/e, Hochschule Dusseldorf (HSD), Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences aware of cross-border entrepreneurship during their studies and afterwards. In an early phase, they discover opportunities that are open to them. Within the CE3 Interreg project we have established an open call that provides funding for your (commercial) startup activities across borders.

Energy Learning Community

The energy transition is in full swing, but is being held back in terms of personnel, among other things. A shortage of 15,000 technicians is expected in the coming period. Due to the rapidly evolving factual knowledge, the knowledge of graduates is already outdated when they enter the job market. Availability of well-trained (with relevant knowledge and skills) and sufficient personnel is crucial for realizing the energy transition. The consortium consisting of Eindhoven University of Technology, Avans University of Applied Sciences, Summa College, and SME companies Exentr, Team RED, Omines and LEDdriven have therefore joined forces in the Energy Learning Community (ELC).

European Venture Programme

The EVP is a strategic partnership between six EuroTech universities: École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Technische Universität München (TUM), Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), École Polytechnique Université Paris-Saclay (l'X) and Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

Per year it offers 25 participants (5 of each participating university) exclusive access to the entrepreneurship expertise and networking resources available at the five EuroTech Universities: EPFL, TUM, DTU, TU/e and l'X. This intensive 10-day program takes entrepreneurs on a journey to the different ecosystems to enable the startups to grow their business beyond borders, with a European orientation from the very beginning. The programme runs 1 week at the beginning of summer and 1 week at the end of summer.

As such, the EVP contributes to stimulating and facilitating entrepreneurship and business creation on a European level among academics (ranging from students to Post-Docs). This is in line with the mission of the EuroTech universities alliance.
