A VPN connection gives you access to IT resources that are not accessible outside the campus.
ICT Services that require a VPN connection when you are outside the campus:
- Access to network drives (using SurfDrive or OneDrive)
- Access to printers
- Access to corporate systems
- Access to databases of the library
ICT Services that do not need a VPN connection:
- E-mail / TU mailbox
- Intranet web pages
- Lync / Skype for Business
ICT Services recommends using the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for a VPN connection. This program is preinstalled on most campus computers.

Log in with your TU/e user code and password.
If you use the Internet Explorer, you get the request to install an ActiveX component and then the request to start the installation.
