  • At the 59th international symposium of the AVS Science & Technology (October 28 – November 2, Tampa, Florida) two members of PMP have been awarded. Harm Knoops (postdoc) has won the prize for the best presentation in the Focus Topic on Spectroscopic Ellipsometry and Adrie Mackus (PhD student) has won the James Harper Student Award of the Thin Film Division. In both cases, the awardees were selected on the basis of their CV and the work that they presented at the conference.

  • From January 1, 2012, Richard Engeln is editor-in-chief of the Dutch Journal of Physics (Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Natuurkunde)
