Mastertrack Medical Imaging
In collaboration with the Imaging Division of the University Medical Center Utrecht a track Medical Imaging (MIx) has started academic year 2017-2018. This track aims to provide an excellent Master's program in the field of imaging and image analysis.
This multidisciplinary field plays an increasingly important role in medicine and has a significant impact on current and future health care. The master’s program combines elements from physics, mathematics, computer science, biomedical sciences, and biology. This track offers students the perfect opportunity to use of the expertise and equipment provided by both the Center for Image Sciences in Utrecht and the department of Biomedical Engineering in Eindhoven. Students have access to state-of-the-art facilities at both universities. The program consists of a combination of courses, research-driven internships, (international) externships and an in-depth research projects. Students can specialize themselves in, amongst others, image acquisition, image analysis, computer-aided diagnosis and image-guided treatment. The program trains students to become multidisciplinary researchers contributing to innovation at the intersection of biomedical sciences, technology and clinical application.
