There is no regular curriculum for PhD students. PhD students have 4 years to complete their research project and finish their thesis. In consultation with their professor they can enrol in courses for their personal and professional development during this period, for example in supervising students and scientific writing. Also following courses in the area of their specialisation is possible, e.g. within national or international research schools or networks.
Many of our PhD students are part of or follow courses at:
- The Advanced School for Computing and Imaging (ASCI), www.asci.tudelft.nl
- The graduate program Medical Imaging (ImagO), www.imago.uu.nl
- The Dutch Heart Foundation, https://www.hartstichting.nl/wetenschappers/phd-training-courses
- Marie Curie training network TECAS, http://doctoralacademy.mh-hannover.de
However, not all students are part of a national school.
