International networks

Eindhoven University of Technology is involved in a number of different international networks. The main goal is  networking and to exchange and share knowledge and best practices in the field of higher education and research.

  • Consortium Linking Universities of Sciences and Technology for Education and Research (CLUSTER)
    CLUSTER is a network of co-operating universities of technology in Europe, founded in 1990. There are 12 participating universities in the CLUSTER Consortium
  • The EuroTech Universities Alliance is a strategic partnership of four leading European universities of science & technology: Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Technische Universität München (TUM)
  • The European Association for International Education  (EAIE)
    The EAIE is a non-governmental, non-profit making professional association with more than 1600 individual members from 60 countries. Its goal is to stimulate and facilitate within a global perspective the internationalization of education, in particular higher education, in Europe.
  • Practical Support Network for (social) employability and sustainable careers (LEO-NET)
    LEO-NET is a practical placement support network throughout Europe (EU, EEA, Macedonia and Turkey). About 70 organizations are member, all of them charged with academic mobility within the ERASMUS+ Programme. The Network was founded in 1999.
  • Santander Group
    The Santander Group was founded in 1988, as one of the first European consortia of universities. It aims at strengthening the academic links for education and research between the network members through specific and advanced facilities as well as privileged channels of information and exchange. Comprised of 34 European universities, the Santander Group provides its students, academic staff and administrative staff with opportunities to benefit from the combined resources of the network members.
  • Société Européene pour la Formation des Ingénieurs (SEFI)
    SEFI was founded in 1973 as a non-governmental, nonprofit international organization. The Society serves as a European Forum and should be considered as a service provider to European institutions, academic staff and industry.
