Bactery as contrast agent in final iGEM competition

Students of the TU/e are in the final of iGEM, an international competition in synthetic biology, in which student teams make biological building bricks to put in living cells. Their project 'MRiGEM', in which a bactery visualizes tumors in MRI scanners, was one of the 18 best projects in Europe. This means that the project is selected to go to the world championship at the beginning of November, at MIT in Boston.
